DOYON+ collaborated with Timiskaming Child Care (TCC) to develop a strategic plan that would reflect evolving community needs, strengthen governance, and provide a sustainable growth framework. TCC, a childcare provider in Northern Ontario, faced challenges in governance and resource allocation, and needed a plan to clarify organizational priorities, support collaboration with local partners, and address service expansion.
DOYON+ structured a process focused on stakeholder engagement and data-driven insights. This included surveys, workshops, and community sessions to identify key priorities, align them with TCC’s mission, and foster partnerships. The strategic planning process enabled TCC to clearly articulate its mission and improve resource allocation, resulting in enhanced collaboration with health and education partners. This project underscored the value of a feedback-driven approach and a collaborative planning process for resilient, community-focused organizations.
